Students in physical science were exploring features of optics. Some stations were focusing on refraction, diffraction, or reflection, with either light or water.





Students in chemistry are investigating and calculating the amount of Vitamin-C in a supplement tablet and comparing their results with the claims of the manufacturer.

9th-Grade students investigating different types of waves. Transverse waves have particles that move perpendicular to the energy transfer! Longitudinal waves have particles that move parallel to the direction of energy transfer!


Corbin Guggisberg and Luca Greenig represented LSH at the 2022 ACDA-MN CTB All State Honor Choir this weekend. A huge accomplishment and honor for Minnesota’s best young singers!

Congratulations to our seniors for signing to athletic programs at their future College/University! Grace Wagner (Gustavus), Nathan Gregersen (Bethany Lutheran) and Hailey Juarez (Jacksonville University).




Some highlights from the LSH High School band and choir trip to Texas! Students got to see the Riverwalk, the Alamo, the Mission San Jose, and have a school exchange with the band and choir programs at Karen Wagner High School in San Antonio. Such a wonderful trip with incredible students!





Mrs. Shoemaker's class also spent some time at MSU-Mankato in their Family and Consumer Science Department.
